IF 'POEM'

Our frog is not that green, but he's the cuttest frog that's ever been
He is still small but not that short, he likes to play in his pond
He eats no flies, I tell no lies, to be his friend, just give him bread
He walks on four, he doesn't leap, he wipes the floor, he has two teeth
He is not shy, he smiles to all (he smiles to our cat, she doesn't smile back!)
He tries to stand, he learned to land, his eyes ask 'why' when he takes a fall
He grabs and holds and screams and kicks, but only if you try to take what he thinks it's his
'The world is your oyster', it's true what they say and into his mouth goes everything in his way
He is our prince, he didn't turn to one with a kiss, but what the heck, we give him plenty of these
To be a parent, well, it's not that bad and frankly we can't wait to hear him saying 'mom' and 'dad'!
;-p

This is a departure from your usual style!

I'd guess your boy is a month or so younger than my granddaughter, who just turned one - but who still has only one tooth.

thank you for your comments...
actually our son is 9 months old and i guess he deserves the 'departure' from my usual style and a small poem for him...

A real talent here, both in visuals and verbals..

Are you an artist?

Only 9 months and he's already standing (albeit briefly) and already has two teeth? That boy is going to town! He'll be saying mama and dada in no time at all.

I would like to see what would happen, when your baby frog meets the rest of the frog-gang :)
